Chasing motorcycle lifters, Haryana cop stabbed to death

Panchkula: A Haryana police constable was today allegedly stabbed to death by a member of a motorcycle lifters gang in Panchkula following a scuffle between them.

Acting on a tip-off that the gang was moving around the Yavnika Park in Panchkula, the Panchkula police team went to arrest the gang members.

However, in the scuffle, a gang member stabbed the constable in his chest, puncturing his heart, Panchkula Police Chief Manish Chaudhry said.
