Class 12 boy attacks juniors with knife in Faridabad school campus

Faridabad: In a shocking incident, a Class 12 student of a school in Faridabad allegedly attacked four of his juniors with a knife, injuring them seriously. The victims, all Class 11 students, are currently being treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a private hospital. The motive behind the attack is still not known.

The incident reportedly happened after lunch break in the premises of Rawal Senior Secondary School in Faridabad. The parents of the victims blame "callous attitude of the school" for the incident.

"I got a call around 2:30 pm from the school. I was told that such an incident happened and my child was admitted in Fortis hospital. My son was attacked with a knife. The Principal of the school admitted him (attacker). What is the responsibility of the school? How will parents send their children to school if such incidents happen," said the father of one of the victims.

"All students were of standard 11 and standard 12. They fought among themselves and one stabbed the others. The principal immediately took action and informed the police, the injured kids were rushed to Fortis hospital and are under observation now," SHO Sudeep Kumar said.

Police have registered a complaint against the class 12 student after principal of the school complained about him.  Police are also waiting for the four students to recover to ascertain the motive behind the attack.
