A Coca Cola employee on his way to a bank was gunned down on a busy road in Guwahati on Tuesday morning, police said, suspecting the involvement of Bodo militants.
Keshab Phukan was on his way to a nearby bank on the busy RG Baruah Road when two unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle fired indiscriminately, killing him on the spot.
The gunmen looted the cash and fled.
Police suspect that the National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) militants are behind the shootout.
