Lucknow:
In a sensational crime, a police constable attached with the security of an official of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati, was shot dead near the DGP office in Lucknow on Sunday night.
After the incident, the carbine and cartridges of the constable, Ramlal Rai was found missing from the spot.
Police suspect that the criminals had snatched the firearms from the policeman. The spot of the incident was just about 200 meters far from the DGP office. The constable was deputed for the security of Officer on Special Duty (OSD), Chandra Prakash.
