Chennai: Country-made bombs were thrown at a police station in Puducherry's Mudaliarpet area on Thursday night. The explosion caused no major damage.
Police says investigation is on and forensic experts are collecting evidence.
CJ Chandran, Senior Superintendent of Police, said, "We are looking for two men. It appears to be an act of mischief. We would also collect CCTV images from a private party around the area."
Police sources say they suspect a disappointed group which had recently tried to file a police complaint to be behind this attack.
Puducherry goes to polls on May 16.
