New Delhi:
An elderly couple was injured in Delhi on Monday when their former domestic help allegedly stabbed them, enraged at not being given re-employment.
The incident took place at Anand Vihar at around 4 pm and the victims were identified as Ashok Gupta (61) and his wife Indu Gupta (60). The accused Sameer is absconding.
Sameer was sacked by the Guptas two months ago after he was apprehended for allegedly stealing valuables from home.
The couple stays with Ashok's 90-year-old father in Pushpanjali Apartments.
The injured were taken to a nearby hospital. The official said a case has been registered and efforts were on to nab the culprit.
