Cuttack:
A woman was found dead from a half-constructed house in Sector 8 of Abhinav Bidanasi in Cuttack under Markat Nagar police station today, police said.
A man with his tongue severed was also found lying unconscious nearby.
The body of the woman bore multiple injuries and it was lying in a pool of blood.
The man was sent to hospital, the police said adding the identity of the man and the woman was not yet known.
Forensic experts are helping in the investigation.
