A minor Dalit girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped by two youths in Munshiganj area, police said on Saturday.
The 14-year-old girl was kidnapped and raped by Monu Singh and Santosh, when she was returning from a marriage function in Pitambarpur village late on Friday night, her father alleged.
However, Superintendent of Police Vijay Singh Meena said that though the girl was kidnapped and a rape attempt was made, the accused failed as the victim raised an alarm.
Medical examination of the girl is being conducted, he said.
