Alleging that the water purifier in a private school in Coimbatore contained dead rats, about 500 parents protested in front of the institution

The parents also alleged that one of the two purifiers have live rats in it, due to which the students were hesitating to consume water, police said.
Police said the parents dispersed after the management assured them that the issue would be looked into.
