Hundreds of students, led by National Students' Union of India (NSUI), took out a protest march in Thane against the release last week of a juvenile convict in the December 16 gang-rape case.
The students, led by Amit Kadam, the Thane district president of the NSUI, started their protest march from Kharghar and concluded it at Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Pharmacy, Belapur, Navi Mumbai.
The students expressed solidarity with the victim's family carrying placards, raising slogans and demanding justice for her and her kins.
