An auto driver was killed on Sunday night when a high tension electric wire fell on his auto near a metro station in East Delhi, police said.
The incident took place near Mayur Vihar Phase-1 metro station at about 11.10 pm on Sunday.
The auto driver, Rajiv Kumar Singhal, a resident of Malkaganj, was killed in the incident while an unidentified passenger suffered injuries.
Both of them were rushed to Lal Bahadur Shastri hospital where Singhal was declared brought dead.
