New Delhi:
A teenaged Delhi University student was raped allegedly by five men, including an auto-driver, in east Delhi, police said on Tuesday.
The incident took place on November 3 when the 19-year-old girl was leaving for Spice Mall in Noida's Sector 63, where she works as a part-time sales executive, from Mandavli.
Rambir, who lives in her neighborhood, allegedly approached her asking whether they could share an auto to Noida, to which she agreed, a senior police official said.
Rambir's three friends also got into the auto. The girl was then taken to a secluded place where they took turns to allegedly rape her, the official said, adding the girl was left near ITO.
After this, the victim hired another auto to her house where she informed her parents about the incident.
She approached the Mandavli police station on November 7.
