New Delhi: Water supply will be affected in several areas in South, North and East Delhi for next three days on account of repair and maintenance of some major pipelines.
Delhi Jal Board officials said water supply would be affected in Mukherji Nagar, Gujranwala town, Nirankari colony, Kakikat Nagar, Kingsway Camp, Azadpur, Jahangirpuri, Adarsh Nagar, Ashok Vihar, part of Shalimar Bagh, Moti Nagar, Kirti Nagar and nearby areas.
Further, due to a major repair work on a pipe line, water supply will also be hit in South Delhi's R K Puram, Delhi Cantt, Vasant Vihar, Moti Bagh, Shanti Niketan and Nanakpura.
Water supply will also be hit in AIIMS and Safdarjung hospitals.
The DJB, which expressed regret for the inconvenience, advised people to store adequate water to meet their requirements.
