A body was found on Thursday by railway cleaning staff in two boxes in a train's general compartment when it had halted in Kota, the railway police said.
The dismembered body was found in two locked tin boxes by the cleaning staff in the general compartment of the train, when they noticed a foul smell, and saw blood near the boxes, GRP said.
The body had blister marks, the police said, adding, it might have been burnt.
It has been sent to the morgue at a local hospital, they said.
