DMK leader's brother goes missing

Madurai: The brother of Tiruchendur DMK MLA Anitha Radhakrishnan has been reported missing since Sunday morning, police have said. They said the man, Nithyanandan (54) stated to be mentally challenged, went missing as the watchman posted to guard him at his residence, did not turn up at work.

Police suspect that Nithyanandam might have left the house in this city early in the morning when his relatives were asleep.

Anitha Radhakrishnan had won the December 19 bypolls in Tiruchendur, trouncing his AIADMK rival T Narayanan by over 46,000 votes.
