Jalpaiguri: Eight passengers died and five others injured in a road mishap in West Bengal's Jalpaiguri district today.
The mishap occurred when a truck collided head on with a trekker at Rangalibana under Madarihat block near Alipurduar, police said.
While seven died on the spot, one succumbed to his injury in the hospital.
The victims were travelling in the trekker.
