Indore: Swine flu has claimed another life in Indore with a 30-year-old man succumbing at a hospital on Friday, taking the toll this year to eight.
The victim hailed from Khargon and was admitted to Rajshree Hospital on February 28. He died last evening, said Dr G L Sodhi, District Health Officer.
Since January, four men and four women have succumbed to H1N1 virus infection in the city hospitals.
Eight more patients were being treated in various hospitals in the city, Dr Sodhi said, adding the condition of seven of them was very critical.
A high-level meeting of medical college professors and doctors of 16 hospitals was held last night to review the situation, he said.
