Bhadoi:
An elderly woman died after being allegedly set on fire by her three brother-in-laws allegedly over a property dispute in the Sitamarhi area here, police said.
The woman's husband Phoolchand was assaulted by his brothers Harishchandra, Rustam and Jagjahir when he resisted an attempt to start some construction in Deegh village late on Thursday, they said.
When Phoolchand went to lodge a police complaint, the trio continued with the construction work to which his wife Shobha Devi (66) protested, police said.
An agitated Harish, Rustam and Jagjahir then set Shobha on fire killing her, they said.
