Rewari, Haryana: An employee of a jewellery house was booked on Saturday for allegedly fleeing with gold jewellery worth Rs 5 lakh, police said in Rewari.
Prashant, a resident of West Bengal, has been booked based on a complaint made by Vikas Mandal who owns a jewellery shop in Barahazari Market in Rewari, they said.
Vikas had handed over the keys of shop to Prashant before leaving for Jaipur recently and on returning yesterday he found ornaments missing, they said.
A police team has been sent to West Bengal to apprehend him, they added.
