Engineering student commits suicide for fear of failing in exams

Indore: Two persons, including an engineering student, committed suicide in separate incidents here, police said on Saturday.

In the first incident, Sachin Pandey (25), a final year Bachelor in Engineering (BE) student, was found hanging by a ceiling in Dravid Nagar area in the wee hours of Saturday, police said, adding that the fear of failure in the exam might have forced him to take the extreme step.

In another incident, a tailor also ended his life allegedly by hanging from a ceiling fan on Friday night in his shop at Chota Bagra near here, police said.
