A eunuch was viciously attacked by two men in Bangalore late on June 9.
Richa was walking down the street along with her friend Usha, also a eunuch, who left her side for just a few minutes when the incident occurred.
"I don't even know who my attackers were," said Richa, who earns a living by begging.
Dr Anil Kumar, the medical officer from Bowring Hospital who treated Richa said, "She has abrasions all over her body, possibly from metal pipes."
No arrests have been made in the case so far.
"The assailants were unidentified, so our first step will be to identify them. This is the first incident of its kind in this area," said R Rajanna, Assistant Sub Inspector, Kodigehalli police station.
