Three people have been injured after farmers and middlemen clashed with each other at a government wheat purchase centre in Uttar Pradesh's Banda district.
Clashes broke out after angry farmers opened fire at the middlemen.
After almost a six year drought, farmers for the Bundelkhand region have had a bumper harvest after last year's normal monsoon. Farmers, however, were unhappy that middlemen were stalling the purchase of their produce.
