Father of a Colonel gunned down outside his house

Rohtak: Father of an army Colonel was gunned down by four motorbike-borne armed assailants outside his house at Karore village in Rohtak on Sunday, police said.

The deceased has been identified as Dhajja Ram , police said.

The incident took place in the morning when Dhajja Ram was taking rest on a cot outside his house. Four armed assailants on two separate motorbikes came there and opened indiscriminate fire at Dhajja Ram who died on the spot, police said.

After perpetrating the crime, the assailants managed to flee from the spot.
