Five killed in building collapse in near Gwalior

Gwalior: Five people, including three women, were killed when a three-storey building collapsed near Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh.

The building, which was nearly 80-year-old, caved in yesterday in Subhashganj area of Dabra tehsil in Gwalior district.

A labourer was engaged in some repair work on the ground floor when the building came crashing down, police said.

The victims were identified as building owner Dinesh Vishwari, his wife Mamta, 12-year-old daughter Ritika, Mahinder Kaur and Laxman, the labourer.

Mr Vishwari's second daughter Monika suffered injuries and has been admitted to a local hospital, police said.
