Nagpur: Five persons were killed and 19 others injured in two separate road accidents near Nagpur today, police said.
Four passengers were killed when their bus, belonging to MSRTC, collided with a speeding truck Ramtek-Kondhali route at Ambdi junction this morning, police said.
Besides, 19 passengers sustained injuries and were rushed to Mayo hospital and Government Medical college.
Police said drivers of both the bus and the truck failed to see an oil tanker on the road which resulted in the mishap.
Meanwhile, one person was killed when two trucks rammed into each other today in Mathani near Mouda, about 40 kms from here, police added.
