Five members of a family commit suicide

Mysore: Reeling under the burden of debt, a woman and her four daughters allegedly ended their lives by consuming poison at Uddur village in Mysore on Saturday.

According to police, Rajeswari, 38, and her four daughters took the extreme step in their farm house, while her husband was away from the house.

Police suspect that debt drove them to suicide.
