Foreign exchange worth Rs 40 lakh stolen in Nashik

Nashik: Unidentified miscreants stole foreign currency worth Rs 40 lakh from an exchange centre in Nashik on Monday, police said.

The theft took place in the crowded Cananda Corner area near the city police commissionerate after the robbers broke into the foreign exchange office from the entrance, they said.

Police have sealed important exit points in the city to nab the culprits and further investigations are on.
