Amethi:
Four persons, including three women and a six-month old baby, were charred to death when their hut caught fire in Annibaijal village in Gauriganj area late last night, Deputy Superintendent of Police M P Singh said.
Their hut was allegedly set afire by some persons over a land dispute, he added.
The father of three women killed in the incident Ramzan Ali has lodged an FIR against seven persons alleging that they torched his hut over a land dispute.
"The matter is being investigated," Singh said.
