Rourkela: Four persons, including a school girl, allegedly committed suicide in Sundargarh district of Odisha in one day, police said on Saturday.
Two persons allegedly committed suicide in the steel city while two other incidents were reported from Lahunipada police station on Friday.
The police said a school girl Upasana Tandi (17) hanged herself in her house and another Prafulla Lakra (52) hanged in his house under Sector-15 police limit of the city.
Pramod Nayak (30) of Jaribahal village committed suicide by drinking poison, another Sonu Kisan (40) of Natibahal village committed suicide hanging from a tree outside the village under Lahunipada police limit.
The police is investigating all four suicide cases and sent the bodies for post-mortem.
