Palwal: A four-year-old girl, who fell into a 200-ft deep borewell while playing, was rescued late last night after an eight hour ordeal.
The child had gone to her maternal uncle's home at Amarpur village in Haryana, when the incident happened yesterday afternoon.
Locals say the administration took over eight hours to pull her out using JCB machines to dig into the sides of the borewell. The girl is now fully conscious and recovering in a local hospital.
