Sasaram, Bihar:
Contraband ganja worth around Rs 5.5 lakh was seized from a car which fell into a ditch after hitting a girl in Uttav village of Bihar's Rohtas district on Sunday.
Block Development Officer of Dinara block, Ranjeet Kumar, said the car hit the girl on NH-30 hit and fell into a roadside ditch while trying to flee.
When the police arrived at the spot, they recovered 40 packets of ganja weighing around 110 kg from the car bearing a registration number of West Bengal, the officer said.
The girl sustained minor injuries.
Driver and other occupants of the car fled from the scene, Kumar said.
