Mathura:
A gas tanker carrying Liquefied Petroleum Gas rammed into a hotel on the National Highway 2 near Mathura and burst into flames today.
The accident resulted in a massive jam on the NH-2, an arterial road between Delhi and Kolkata.
Five fire engines were rushed to the spot to bring the fire under control.
The tanker was on its way from Mathura to Delhi.
Eyewitnesses said the driver lost control over the truck as he tried to dodge sales tax officers at a check post.
