Ghaziabad:
Two persons were arrested from Ghaziabad for allegedly trying to extort Rs 1.20 crore from industrialist Puneet Agarwal, police said on Friday.
Sonu and Kulwant had called up Agarwal five days ago and threatened to kill him unless he handed over the money, Superintendent A K Vijeta said.
Following a complaint, a probe was launched and the duo was arrested, he said, adding the accused had confessed to the crime.
