Ghaziabad: A student of Class X was arrested in Ghaziabad for allegedly staging his own kidnapping, with the help of two friends, in order to extort Rs 20 lakh from his father as "ransom", police said on Tuesday.
Arun Kumar had left for his school from Khoda colony here on April 15. He made a ransom call to his father from Badaun in Uttar Pradesh two days later, along with Saurabh and Avender, they said.
