Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh:
A couple was killed and two others injured in an attack by some unidentified assailants, following which one person has been arrested, police said on Thursday.
Forty-five-year old Munesh and his wife, forty-year old Santra were killed when some unidentified persons entered their house on the Rawli road, 30 kms from Ghaziabad, police said, adding, two of their relatives Sanjay and Sadhna were also injured in the incident.
The 10-year-old daughter of the couple escaped unhurt from the scene, Police Superintendent (Rural) M M Beg said.
Police has claimed to have arrested one of the accused in this connection but declined to give details.
Beg denied any possibility of loot saying personal enmity was the reason behind the attack.
