A 16 year-old adivasi girl was killed allegedly after she foiled a rape attempt at village Baghadu in Duddhi police station area here.
According to family members of Saroj Gaur, a student of class XI , she had gone to school yesterday morning but did not return and her body was today found 8 km away from her house in the jungles.
The family alleged she has been murdered after she foiled a rape attempt.
The circle officer of Duddhi police area, V Ram, said investigations were on in connection with the allegations of the family and two persons have been taken into custody for questioning.
