The girl who was set on fire allegedly by three men
Moradabad:
A girl from Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh was allegedly put on fire by three men. According to reports, the girl was attacked when she resisted the men, who were allegedly harassing her.
The three men allegedly poured kerosene on her and then set her on fire. The girl was rushed to the hospital, where she is being treated.
"She was standing at the door when the boys came. They started commenting on her. When she started to protest they threw kerosene on her and burnt her down," the girl's uncle said.
The police said they have launched a manhunt to nab the three accused.
"We have filed a complaint against the three boys who threw kerosene on the girl. The girl has been admitted to the hospital. We are in search of the accused. We hope to find them soon," said Amrendr Kumar Sanger, Deputy Inspector General of Moradabad.
