Pune: In another case of women being attacked, an 18-year-old girl was molested in the middle of the road at Bhawani Peth at 10.15 pm last night.
However, the gutsy teen didn't get intimidated by her assailant and held on to him and kept shouting for help till the time a few passersby showed up to help.
According to a complaint lodged at Khadak police station, Sunita Tambe (name changed to protect identity) was returning home from work and was walking near PMC colony at Kashiwadi in Bhawani Peth.
The boy identified as Sagar Shankar Sadekar (19), a resident of Bhawani Peth came up to her and offered her money to sleep with him.
The girl showed courage in not letting him go and held on to him.
