Greater Noida: A 40-year-old man, who had come to deposit cash at a bank, was shot at by armed assailants in Alpha one commercial area of Greater Noida on Saturday, police said.
Ashok Gupta was shot at in his leg by robbers, police said, adding that at first the robbers attempted to loot Sudesh Kumar, a businessman, near the same bank who had gone there to deposit cash.
When Kumar resisted, the car-borne robbers fired shots in air while fleeing away and the bullet hit Gupta's left leg, police said.
A case has been registered in this regard and police were trying to nab the accused on the basis of their car number.
