Ahmedabad:
A 26-year-old student, pursuing post-graduation from Gujarat Vidhyapeeth passed away in his hostel room inside the institute campus, police said today.
The incident took place last night when Nilay Vasava was studying in his room and collapsed all of a sudden on the table following which his fellow mates rushed him to the hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
According to Gujarat Vidhyapeeth officials Nilay was suffering from some heart ailment which could be the reason for his untimely death.
The exact reason would be known only after the postmortem report, they said adding Nilay was a student of Masters in Computer Application (MCA) course.
A case of accidental death has been registered and further investigations are on, police said.
