Gurgaon: Eighteen prisoners today escaped from a prison van of Bhondsi jail in Haryana. However, two were caught and 16 are still absconding.
The incident took place when the prisoners were being taken to Palwal for being produced in court. They attacked the police personnel inside the van and fled away.
Three policemen have been injured in the incident. Injured policemen have been admitted to Civil Hospital in Palwal.
