Hathras: Two students were allegedly shot dead after a dispute between two groups at Delhiwala chowk in Hathras, police said today.
The victims, identified as Anshul Kaushik (24) and Kaushik Chaudhary (22), students of a local college were shot dead last night, police said, adding the murder is said to be fallout of a dispute between the two groups allegedly over ragging.
A case has been registered against five students belonging to one of the groups and efforts are on to arrest them, police said.
Meanwhile local traders kept their shutters down in the markets in protest against the incident, they said.
