Atiq Ahmed, a resident of Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh today set his wife on fire after she discovered his affair with his sister-in-law.
Their son, a witness to the incident, said his father set his mother, Rukiya Begum, on fire, not once but four times to ensure that she dies.
The incident took place at 2 am on Saturday morning.
The man is missing and the police are looking for him and his sister-in-law, who he had an affair with.
A case of murder has been registered against him.
