Jalandhar:
Heroin worth Rs 10 crore in the international market has been seized in Ferozepur sector, Border Security Force (BSF) sources said on Monday.
Security forces were on routine patrolling along the Khalda Border outpost, when some suspicious activities were noticed, Director General of Punjab Frontier, BSF, Aditya Mishra said.
On inspection, BSF found two packets each containing one kg of heroin, which were hidden in the fields, he said, adding further probe is on.
With this seizure, over 230 kg of contraband has been recovered along the international border in Punjab this year, he said.
