Hoax call triggers panic in college

Mumbai: A phone call claiming that a bomb was planted inside a college in suburban Bandra triggered panic on Wednesday and the police carried out search operations for over two hours.

An anonymous person called the police control claiming that a bomb was planted inside the premises of Raheja School of Art, following which the police evacuated the entire college, police said.

"Bomb Disposal and Detection Squad and local police searched the entire building for over two hours but nothing suspicious was found," Deputy Police Commissioner K M Prasanna said. "We are trying to trace the caller", he added.
