Howrah:
A middle-aged woman was electrocuted early today while catching fish from a pond in which a live electric wire had fallen during a storm at Bosepara in Howrah district.
Rani Dhar (55) died instantly when she lay her hand on a dead fish floating in the pond in which a live electric wire had fallen from a high-voltage cable during a storm, police said.
Locals have been advised not to touch the water of the pond till it is cleaned.
