Nagpur:
An impressive air show by advanced light helicopters was performed as part of the 81st anniversary celebration of the Indian Air Force (IAF) in Nagpur on Thursday.
Led by Wing Commander Ravi Pathak, the team carried out sequences of manoeuvres and different formations and criss-cross flying, sending the crowd cheering at the Air Force station in Sonegaon in Nagpur.
The Akash Ganga skydiving team also performed during the show.
The demo by MI-75C5 helicopters was introduced for the first time in the city. The air show also included static display of some of the aircraft like newly-acquired transport aircraft C-130J.
Air Officer Commander- in-Chief of the hosts IAF Maintenance Command, Air Marshal P Kanakraj, was the chief guest. Maharashtra Minister for Food and Civil Supplies Anil Deshmukh and MP Vijay Darda were also present on the occasion.
