Bhopal : A vegetable wholesaler was killed on Sunday as he was demanding Rs 600 from a retailer in Madhya Pradesh's financial capital Indore, police said.
"Kishore Chouhan had given vegetables worth Rs 600 to Gajendra Chouhan a few months back. And he had been demanding the amount from him since then. On Sunday, Gajendra called Kishore to the Ashiyana Palace area. Both met each other with their friends and after some arguments, Gajendra attacked Kishore with an axe, striking at him repeatedly. He died on the spot," Pawan Mishra, officer in-charge of Chandan Nagar police station told Indo Asian News Service.
Kishore's friend Sunny was also injured in the incident. Gajendra surrendered to police but his friends are still absconding.
