Inspired by a TV serial, an issueless man killed a 10-year-old girl here in the belief that this would help him have his own child, police said on Tuesday.
The incident took place on Monday in Bhatwa Ki Purva locality. 30-year-old Rajesh Vishkarma, who was married for 10 years, killed the daughter of his neighbour and disposed off the body, ASP Pradip Gupta said.
Vishkarma has been arrested, he said.
