Jalandhar: The Indian Redcross Society on Wednesday announced that it would give artificial limbs to those affected in the recent factory collapse in the city.
The three-storey carpet factory building had collapsed at around midnight on April 15 in Focal Point area, claiming at least 23 lives and injuring scores.
"Those injured in the mishap would be brought to the Red Cross centre here and they will be fitted with artificial limbs, so that they could lead a normal life," said Priyanka Bharti, District Magistrate.
